Did you hear that thud? It was the sound of me coming down to earth after a fabulous holiday.
Two weeks ago I was sipping prosecco, and riding a bike around (mostly) sunny Ravenna in Italy – not at the same time! One week ago I was back in Australia curled up in front of a fire in the Blue Mountains, enjoying our final week of holidays reading a great book (more about that in a later post) and sleeping off the jet-lag. This magnificent view across the valley was shrouded in mist until just before we packed up and left for home. This week life has quickly returned to what passes for normal around here, but for now we are feeling refreshed and have a new spring in our step.
Hi I have been following the time you have had away and would love to know the name of the cruise company you travelled with. I donot mind if you contact me personally. Jeannette
ReplyDeleteDi, your holiday has sounded fabulous. Thanks for sharing the trip with us. I feel like I have hit a thud of reality now you're home also-lol.
ReplyDeleteThe photos on this post are fabulous especially the one on the bike.

Hi Di! How cute you look on that bike! What a fabulous way to see Italy. We did it by train and on foot. Biking seems like a whole lot more fun.
ReplyDeleteThank you for responding to my flat tire post. I believe I was thinking the cost would be more in line with what you paid. Any way, it's been interesting to see the differences.
Take care!
Aloha!
What a great holiday - I have really enjoyed the holiday posts. But it's always lovely to be home, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious, well-deserved time away you and Boak enjoyed. All your pictures point toward fabulous views and experiences. Enjoy the freshness of being at home again, in your own bed, and - more importantly - in your sewing room. Blessings!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic holiday you have had - and how generous of you to share it on your blog. Love the bike lady!!!
ReplyDeleteThe cottage up in the Blue Mountains looks so cute, and the view amazing - just goes to show what we have in Aussie here on our doorstep.
Your new Blog header looks wonderful - go girl!!
