Taormina

It snowed on Mt Etna last week (see that little patch of white, unmelted snow on the right-hand slope) but today it was slow going on our walking tour of Taormina as the temperatures soared into the 30s. 

I’m a little pooped, so I’ll let these photos do the talking.    Finally, take a look at this table of cakes.  In fact they’re not cakes at all, but candles!
