This was where I spent it – beside the water, not in it – with good friends.

    As the temperature here in western parts was predicted to reach 39* we spent it under the air-con watching the tennis, and in eating -- ham, prawns and salad followed by pavlova and cheesecake (how seventies), mince pies and Christmas pudding!
