Enjoying cuddles with my littlest darlings - Xanna and Jack.
Catching up with my dear friend Linda, while she was on holidays in the Ozarks in the USA, through the magic of Skype. Linda’s blog is www.flourishingpalms.blogspot.com and I thought her very clever to rent a condo with a picture of a flourishing palm tree over her bed
Congratulating myself on being able to keep a phalaenopsis orchid alive for a whole year, and getting it to produce flowers.
My secret? Benign neglect.
Imagining the beautiful quilt I’m going to make with these lovely fabrics (and more) over the next 6 months. More about that later
Fulfilling a special order for a friend who wanted these goodies made to give to new twin bubs in her family.
What’s been making you smile?
your orchid is so beautiful! I love them so much, but -alas- I would not succeed in keeping one alive.
ReplyDeletewell all of these surely would!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful children - and I love the picture of Linda. Isn't Skype just the greatest invention? blessings, marlene
ReplyDeleteLovely things to enjoy, Di. Intrigued as to what you are doing with those fabrics. Do I detect a special reason? ;)))
ReplyDeleteIt's a good thing you have TWO knees! They're perfect for dandling two adorable grandies. Jack's smile is precious. I'm smiling over that Skype picture of me, having not really considered your point of view and that palm tree. Too funny! I'm in the know about those fabrics and I think they're beautiful. Can't wait to see your progress on your creation. Booties, caps and the owl... darling.
