I don’t visit IG enough.KaHollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02528677007819875856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8621431637562254150.post-13875560375789268412019-11-04T03:53:29.537+11:002019-11-04T03:53:29.537+11:00How lovely to see you again in blogland! And you m...How lovely to see you again in blogland! And you made me giggle with your opening sentence... "neglected for a while." If 17 months is "a while," what's a long time?! Ha, ha, ha. You're funny! It's sure great to read the back story on all the pretties we've seen on Instagram. It's always good to look back at our group picture from Stitchin' Mission, and see how far we've come - and how much older we are! Ha. I didn't realize you entered the same quilt in both the NSW show and Royal Easter show. Yay for the ribbon! Do you think it made a difference giving the quilt a new name? I also didn't realize you'd submitted a quilt for a "Curated Quilts" challenge. It's really striking, and I completely understand your sentiments about feeling outside your comfort zone with improv. It's precisely the same for me, yet continues to intrigue me because it's challenging. Improv will definitely take more trial-and-error, and practice for me to ever become proficient. My failures with it make me appreciate even more those who seem to have the knack. I want to be one of them! Thanks for taking the time to give an overview of your makes. Keep having quiltmaking fun!
